Layan Ancient Clay Pot

Handcrafted from clay by Ukrainian artisans in the 1920s, the Layan Ancient Clay Pot is the result of ancient pottery practices unique to the region's culture. In Ukrainian villages, pottery is still used for its intended purposes and families traditionally serve the table with pottery for holiday meals.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. There are no cracks, holes or other damage. The pot was used for cooking in the oven, so the bottom of the pot is black. The uneven color makes the jug cute and unique. Please see photo.
