The base color is brown with reddish brown and ecru details.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eIkat from Ende is renowned for its intricate designs and vibrant colors, rooted in centuries-old traditions of Indonesian weaving. Each piece is meticulously handwoven by skilled artisans, and dyed using natural plant dyes, often taking anywhere from 2 - 6 months per piece to complete, making it a unique work of art. Ikat patterns of weaving are handed down as a taught skill - it is a rare art in decline.
